The reason I decided to come to Jamia is my love for Khilafat and my passion for serving the
Jama’at. I always wanted to be a doctor but after grade 10 and the tarbiyyati camp I realized
what Jamia is. From there on, I did a lot of tabligh and felt myself wanting to be a missionary.
Also, I didn’t want to forget the Qur’an – as I am a Hafiz by the grace of Allah – so I came to
Jamia.

The reason I came to Jamia is solely to learn more about Ahmadiyyat so I may further spread
its message. The majority of people in society have the wrong idea of Islam. Therefore, there is
a rapidly growing need for missionaries and Imams. Islam needs to be spread and true Islam
needs to be taught to the world. Hence, my aim is to be able to successfully learn the knowledge
of Ahmadiyyat and be able to educate others, hopefully bringing them towards the true Islam,
Insha’Allah. Please pray for me, that I may be able to efficiently and successfully carry out this
task. Ameen.

As I was growing up, by the grace of Allah, my parents had involved me in many Jama’at
activities. In every Jama’at event I went to, there would be a missionary leading the event. I
would get very fascinated by their speeches and their leadership. As I grew older, I understood
what a missionary was and the importance of their work in the Jama’at. So, when it was time to
decide a career, I chose to become a missionary.
