CAMP 2016
By the grace of Allah, Majlis Khuddamul-Ahmadiyya Canada,
with the help of Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada, conducted the 11th
Annual National Ta’limi and Tarbiyyati Camp which spanned 8
days, from Friday, March 11th, until Friday, March 18th, 2016.
The 99 students that attended were split up into 8 Groups –
Shuja’at, Barakat, Rahmat, Shuja’at, Shafqat, Istiqamat, Amanat,
and Rafaqat. Each group was led by a Group Leader. All of the
group leaders were students of Jamia. The camp ran under a
similar administration as Jamia Ahmadiyya, with a Principal,
Vice Principal I, Vice Principal II, teachers, and some Nazimeen
- from amongst the students Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada.
The program was structured similar to the Jamia Ahmadiyya
schedule. Each day commenced with Fajr prayer and Tilawat,
after which was a rest period. Then, the students woke up at
about 8:45 a.m. for breakfast, and were expected to report to
the mosque for morning assembly on the pattern of Jamia
Ahmadiyya – Tilawat, Iqtibaas (excerpt from the writings of the
Promised Messiahas), and roll call. For 4 of the 8 days, this was
followed by two classes: “Translation and Tarteel-ul-Qur’an”
and “Books of the Promised Messiahas.”
After these classes, the students participated in fun team-
building activities and then two more classes were held: “Stories
of Prophets” and “Who is God?” These classes highlighted this was a difficult trip to organize, due to the number of people allowed on the

chicken and fries to sweet and sour chicken, to pasta, as well as
two BBQ’s.
Isha prayers followed, and an evening assembly took place.
Before sending the students home for the day, a surprise activity
was organized. For example, for two nights motivational video
and talk sessions were organized, and on other evenings fun
activities such as a group Nazm competition, were organized.
On Tuesday, the students went on a field trip to the Toyota
Manufacturing Plant in Cambridge, where the students saw
how assembly lines assemble cars in this large facility. Although
