Ata-ul-Hai (Vaughan, CANADA)

I came to Jamia so I can get knowledge, improve my spiritual life, and also make other people’s
lives better so I that I and others can get closer to God. Also, so I can spread the message of
Allah, and His Prophetsa, and the Promised Messiahas. Also, so that I can reform myself and
          leave my bad habits.

          Tahir Mian (Vaughan, CANADA)

Before choosing Jamia, there were several fields that crossed my mind. However, living in Peace
Village all my life, I have seen Jamia students going to Jamia on the bus before (when Jamia
was in Missisauga) and later to Tahir Hall. Their unity and brotherhood was always apparent.
I knew that I was interested in joining Jamia after High school, but I wasn’t completely sure.
Then, when Huzooraa said in one of his sermons that Waqf-e-Nau should consider Jamia as
their first choice of career, I said Labbaik(I am here and ready) and wrote a letter to Huzooraa
saying that I have heard and submitted myself.

There are many people in the world who are doctors, engineers, lawyers and human rights
workers. They might do some work for humanity, but they don’t know what true love of God is.
They might have some idea but a Murrabi is someone who has the most knowledge about what
true love of God is and how to obtain it. The reason I came to Jamia Ahmadiyya is to become
close to God and build a special relationship with Huzooraa.

          Adnan Ahmad (Bradford, CANADA)

I have joined Jamia in order to serve Islam and please God Almighty. I also wanted to increase
my knowledge about the Holy Qur’an and Islam. Finally, the most important reason is to get
closer to God Almighty and Khilafat.

I wanted to go to Jamia because I believe that it is the best way to fulfill one's Waqf. Being
a Muabbi is the only profession mentioned in the Holy Qur’an with the promise of success.
Jamia, alongside studies and discipline, also emphasizes on one’s connection with Allah the
Almighty. Huzooraa has also encouraged Waqfeen-e-Nau to go o Jamia. Huzooraa as a special
love for Jamia students and has a keen eye on the matters of Jamia. Hence, in order to build
a relationship with Allah and beloved Huzooraa and to get the blessings of being a Murabbi, I
          have joined Jamia.
